How it all began.

It all started during Jake’s finance career. Kinda.

Long hours demanded that he arrive before sunrise and often stay until after sunset. It was common to go long stretches without ever seeing natural sunlight.

When Jake pivoted from finance to industrial design, the experience of soul-crushing artificial light remained a problem he wanted to address. The solution became Solar Echo.

John saw the light and knew it was essential to bring to market. With his marketing and technology background, John partnered with Jake to make natural lighting available to everyone.

- Jake & John, Solar Echo

“Lighting isn't simply about allowing us to see. It shapes the mood of the room, how we feel, and how we interact with others.”

— Christopher Morrison
